Borralan Frost

The area to the east of Elphin is a frost pocket, and on this winter morning it was eight degrees below as the sun rose, highlighting the twin peaks of Cul Mor on the horizon. There had been no snow, but hoar frost covered everything on the banks of Loch Borralan.
